Manufactured by Ibanez or Teisco in the early '60s, this garage rock hot rod came in with a severely concave neck.
After putting the fretboard on the sander you can see how bad the neck had become. (outlined in white pen)
Once it was sanded straight on the big sander, re-radiused with a nice compound 9.5 to 12...
...it was refretted with regular wire and given back to a very happy customer.
We're seeing more and more of these as the vintage guitar market delves further into the riches of Japanese guitar building history. Some are fantastic, some are rubbish (which we're happy to sort out for you), but 99% of the time they look diabolical...
